Our summer camps are packed with action! Campers can expect to learn everything they need to know about owning and riding a horse- from care and feeding to equipment and tacking, to the basics of riding. We’re offering three levels- Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced weekly! Campers will get to try a variety of styles of riding while at camp, working with an assigned equine partner all week. Other activities may include art projects, stick pony races, horseshoes, cornhole, bunny rabbit playtime, and so much more!

Camp will run from 9:00-4:00, with an hour of pre-care and aftercare available on request for an additional fee.

Join us for hands-in-the-dirt adventure around the Farm! Learn about plants, get hands on time with farm animals, and discover a lifelong passion for sustainability! Featuring hands-on building and art projects, exploration time, and so much more!

This volunteer position allows teens to be hands-on with campers and horses all summer! CITs will lead activities, help their assigned campers ready to ride, and support instructors in and out of the arena. No prior experience needed- just be willing and able to show up and learn! CITs will also benefit from weekly lessons with their peers after camp, as well as opportunities for additional training throughout the summer and beyond!

Training is mandatory, June 26-28th from 10-4.

Equity and Access is a central part of our mission at Golden Owl Riding School. For those ages 7-13 who wish to come to horse camp but cannot afford to do so, we have a limited number of scholarship slots available weekly. These are demonstrated need based only.
