Scholarship and Work Trade Opportunities:

We believe that horses should be accessible to all people who have the passion and drive to work with them. That is why we have created a work-trade program to help support those who otherwise would not have access to horses get involved!

How it works:

You volunteer a set number of days a week. In trade for 8 hours of work, you earn one group or semi-private lesson with one of our trainers. Hours can be banked, and used for friends or family members etc.

Who is it for?

This program is for anybody, ages 10 and up, for whom riding lessons would be a financial hardship. If you’ve been bit by the horse bug, and don’t mind helping out, this is for you.

What kind of work would I be doing?

You function as a trainer’s assistant and barn hand. Bringing horses in from the field, grooming, tacking up, helping warmup or cool horses down, taking photos or videos, stall cleaning, feeding, sweeping the aisle, and acting as a general ‘go-fer’. This may include some ridden work, but not guaranteed. We also always have lots of maintenance projects to work on, especially if you have specialized skills!
